Welcome to Venus Training Ltd.
My career has included more than 30 years of work in higher education, professional learning and international engagement. During that time, I have worked with students, educators, universities, public institutions and employers in the United Kingdom and internationally. This experience has reinforced the importance of education that is academically sound, professionally relevant and responsive to the needs of students.
Our learners come to us with different experiences, responsibilities and ambitions. Some are beginning higher education for the first time, while others are returning to study or seeking to develop their careers. Our role is to provide a structured and supportive environment in which every student is encouraged to engage fully with their studies and make meaningful progress.
As Principal, my focus is on developing an institution known for the quality of its teaching, the integrity of its academic practice and the value of the student experience. Our programmes should provide students with relevant knowledge, practical skills and the confidence to apply their learning in further study, employment and wider life.
We are also committed to ensuring that our provision remains connected to the communities and industries we serve. This means listening carefully, maintaining strong academic and professional partnerships, and reviewing our work regularly so that we continue to meet appropriate standards and respond to a changing educational and employment landscape.
Students have an important part to play in shaping their own experience. I encourage every learner to participate actively, ask questions, make full use of the support available and approach their studies with commitment and curiosity.
